Home > Valuations > Obtaining a Valuation

Your jewellery is important to you so it is a worthwhile practice to have it correctly valued. This is to ensure that a particular piece of jewellery or watch is insured against loss or damage. As your local jeweller we offer a full range of specialist services, including valuations. Andrew Berry Jewellery is a registered member of the National Association of Goldsmiths and provide a valuation service of the highest quality and accuracy.

Simply call into Andrew Berry Jewellery with the item or items of jewellery you wish to have valued. If you have any previous valuations of any of the items, or any relevant documentation that may help to date the piece, for instance the original receipt, then bring this along too. You will be issued with a receipt and you will told when the valuation will be completed.

We will assess your jewellery for its correct and accurate valuation. Any minor repairs that may need to be undertaken will be noted. When your jewellery is returned, you will also receive:
A bound certificate of valuation. (Your copy)
A copy certificate of valuation. (A copy for your insurance company, for instance.)
Notes detailing any potential repairs that may be needed.
